Rezystencja foi formada em 1993, na Polônia. O álbum My Jestesmy Skinheads é o segundo registro da banda, sendo que a cassette foi lançada em 1995 e o CD em 2004, pela Olifant Records. Rezystencja tem um som tipicamente Oi!/punk que agrada por ser bem tocado, e por soar de uma forma peculiar apenas às bandas do Leste Europeu. Praticamente desconhecida no Brasil (talvez pelo idioma), a banda conseguiu chamar um pouco mais de atenção quando participou das coletâneas Oi! Rare & Exotica, Oi! It’s a World invasion Vol. 3 e Never say die! Vol. 1. Infelizmente, o idioma ainda continua sendo uma barreira na descoberta de boas bandas. A edição em fita cassette contém 12 músicas cantadas em polonês, incluindo duas covers, cujo idioma fez com que soassem ainda mais interessantes. O lado A da fita fecha com uma versão de “Horrorshow”, gravada originalmente pela Last Resort. A primeira música do lado B é “Rebelianci”, uma versão polonesa para a “Suburban Rebels” do The Business, que é a minha canção favorita nesta fita.

Polish band Rezystencja was formed in 1993. The album My Jestesmy Skinheads is the bands’ second release that came out on cassette format in 1995, and have the CD released in 2004 by Olifant Records. Their music sounds well-played and it is like the typical Oi!/punk, but with that special raw touch, peculiar to Eastern European bands. Rezystencja is not well-known in Brazil (maybe due to their idiom), but had attracted some attention when got their songs compiled on Oi! Rare & Exotica, Oi! It’s a World Invasion Vol. 3 and Never Say Die! Vol.1. Unfortunately, the language is still a barrier for people discovering good (and unknown) bands, as listeners are mostly on the lookout for bands singing in the “traditional” idioms (i.e. English). The music tape edition has 12 songs in Polish, including 2 interesting versions also sung in Polish. The side One of the tape is closed with the Last Resort’s “Horrorshow”. The first song of side Two is “Rebelianci”, a Polish version for The Business’ “Suburban Rebels”, that surely is my favourite song on this tape.
