A primeira banda a ter resenha neste blog foi a alemã Open Violence, há quase 3 anos atrás. Na época, o CD demo com 9 faixas já dava pistas do que estava por vir. Como já dito, Open Violence é da região de Sachsen-Anhalt, e é formada por membros da Last Riot e da extinta Kampfzone. O resultado musical não poderia ser melhor: skinhead rock'n'roll potente, violento, agressivo. Este MLP contém 4 faixas, que já constavam na demo de 2008. A qualidade de gravação deste disco é impecável, com instrumental 100% melhorado, além de novos arranjos e vocal mais nítido. Vigor puro, um chute nos dentes! A versão em vinil tem tiragem de 250 cópias e possui encarte com letras. Compre antes que seja tarde demais...

Open Violence was the first band to have a review on this blog, almost three years ago. At the time, the 9 tracks demo CD gave us a hint of what we should expect for. As said before, Open Violence is from Sachsen-Anhalt area and line-up has members of both Last Riot and (now defunct) Kampfzone. Musical result coudn't be better: a powerful, violent and aggressive skinhead rock'n'roll! This MLP contains 4 tracks which had been already included in the 2008 demo CD. Quality recording is impeccable, instrumental is 100% enhanced with new arragements/riffs and more clear vocals now. Pure strength, a kick in the teeth! Vinyl version is limited to 250 copies only and has insert with lyrics. Grab it before it's too late...

Totalmente impresso em papel couché, Real Enemy chega à edição nº 11, contendo diversas resenhas de shows e discos, além de entrevistas com bandas como Roots'n'boots, Deadline, The End, Harrington Saints, Pilsner Oiquell, Those Unruly, Street Kids, etc. Quase todo o fanzine é bilingüe (Eslovaco-Inglês). For reading, there's nothing better than leaf through a fanzine with dozen of articles and interesting interviews. Fully printed on glossy paper, here's Real Enemy #11, featuring loads of reports, gigs and record reviews, interviews with bands like Roots'n'boots, Deadline, The End, Harrington Saints, Pilsner Oiquell, Those Unruly, Street Kids, etc. Almost the whole edition is bilingual (Slovak - English). The Choice é uma banda streetpunk americana pouco conhecida, cujas músicas incluídas neste 7" foram gravadas em 1996. O compacto possui 3 músicas: "Free beer", som punk rock e "Against the wall", com influências de hardcore norte-americano. O lado B do disco contém apenas a faixa "Working", uma cover da Cock Sparrer gravada ao vivo. Conforme havia escrito no post acima, a Shout Proud records é especializada em edições limitadas (limitadíssimas em alguns casos), sendo que este promo não estava disponível para a venda. Além de ter tiragem de apenas 100 cópias, foi enviado como brinde aos "verdadeiros fãs" da Shout Proud que compraram o 10" da Brutti e Ignoranti... mais uma vez: fique atento! ;-)

The Choice is a not so well known US streetpunk band whose songs featured on this 7" were recorded back in 1996. This 7" has 3 tracks: "Free beer" which sounds more like a punk rock and "Against the wall", influenced by US hardcore. Side B contains "Working", a Cock Sparrercover recorded live. As I had written in the last post, Shout Proud records is a label specialized in limited editions (very limited I would say). They pressed only 100 copies of this 7" and it was not available for sale, but had been sent as a promo (yep, a gift!) for the "true fans" of Shout Proud who had ordered the Brutti e Ignoranti 10"... once again, stay tuned! ;-)

BRUTTI E IGNORANTI - "Alla faccia vostra" (Shout Proud rds., 10" - 2011)

Assim como todos os outros lançamentos da Shout Proud records, é bem provável que este já esteja esgotado, mas mesmo assim, não deixaria de escrever algumas linhas sobre este magnífico disco. Para aqueles que são fãs de Oi! italiano, não há dúvidas de que irão curtir este álbum dos B.E.I.. Oi! cru e bem tocado, backing vocals alinhados e com letras no melhor estilo "skinhead way of life" (cerveja, garotas e tattoos). Música sem frescuras, sem política e sem aquele besteirol politicamente correto muito em voga nos dias de hoje... Impossível dizer quais são as melhores faixas, já que todas as músicas são excelentes. Ducaralho esta banda! Com edição limitada a 200 cópias, o vinil chama atenção pelo diferente formato quadrangular, prensado nas cores preta e cinza. A arte da capa também recebeu cuidados especiais em relação à edição em CD, e o encarte vem com as letras e alguns desenhos skins (além de um patche da banda). Se você não conseguir mais o vinil 10", compre ao menos o CD, pois vale a pena! Agora se você gosta de edições especiais como esta, fique atento aos futuros lançamentos da Shout Proud records... Oi! da melhor qualidade!

Like all other Shout Proud releases, this one is probably sold out, nevertheless, would not fail on write some lines about this wonderful record. There's no doubt that Italian Oi! fans will enjoy this B.E.I. album. This is raw and well-played Oi! music, aligned backing vocals and lyrics with a strong "skinhead way of life" feeling (tattoos, beers, girls). No frills, no politics and no political correctness bullshit which is so fashionable as today... Hard to say what are the best tracks, as all songs are excellent. Fucking great band! This is a 200 copies limited edition, whose vinyl is square shaped, on black and marbled grey wax. Cover art also got a special touch concerning the CD edition and the insert comes with lyrics and skinhead drawings (including an embroidered patch!). If you can't find this 10" anymore, I suggest you to buy the CD version as it's well worth it. But if you enjoy special editions like this one, stay tuned to the upcoming Shout Proud releases... Oi! as its best!

I DON'T LIKE YOU - "Keine Reue" (Oi! Ain't Red, CD - 2011)

"One, two, three, four... I don't like you!!!". Assim começa a introdução do CD de estréia da IDLY. Qualquer semelhança não é mera coincidência, já que o próprio nome da banda vem de uma canção da Skrewdriver. IDLY é da região da Turíngia, e tocam o típico Oi!/skinhead rock alemão, com claras influências de Skrewdriver dos anos 70 nas guitarras. Desnecessário dizer que as letras fogem do tolo padrão politicamente correto que assola grande parte das bandas atuais. Com ótima qualidade de gravação, este excelente debut contém 12 faixas que não deixam a desejar, incluindo covers de "Streetfight" e "I don't like you", da Skrewdriver. A música "Thüringen" é uma versão mais rústica para "Göteborg", da sueca Perkele. Destaque para a explicitamente anti-comunista "100 Millionen" ["I don't like you! Rock against communism..."]. Outras canções que merecem destaque são "Keine Reue", "Ein Salut" e "Nur Musik". O selo Oi! Ain't Red também caprichou no encarte que vem com 16 páginas, contendo letras e fotos. Se você curte Oi!/skinhead rock alemão, não deixe de comprar este CD. A propósito, existem rumores de que sairá também em LP. Excelente disco!

"One, two, three, four... I don't like you!!!". IDLY debut CD is introduced by this sentence... Any similarity is not purely coincidental, since the band's name comes from a Skrewdriver song. IDLY is from Thüringen and plays typical German Oi!/skinhead rock, whose guitar sound is clearly influenced by 70's Skrewdriver. Needless to say that lyrics are not engaged into the silly PC bullshit which had infected many bands nowadays. With such a good quality recording, this excellent debut has 12 great tracks, including two Skrewdriver covers, "Streetfight" and "I don't like you". "Thüringen" is a nice harder version for Perkele's "Göteborg". One of the best songs is the explicitly anti-commie "100 millionen" ["I don't like you! Rock against communism..."]. Other highlighted songs are "Keine Reue", "Ein Salut" and "Nur Musik". Oi! Ain't Red also has made a great work concerning the 16 pages booklet with lyrics and pictures. If you are into German Oi!/skinhead rock, don't miss this CD. By the way, there are rumours that it might be released on LP soon. Great album!

Antonella's Klasse Kriminale - Dead End Street (Razorwire Rds., 7" - 2010)

La bella ragazza está de volta! Antonella's KK é o novo projeto da ex-guitarrista dos Klasse Kriminale. Pra quem não sabe, Antonella Cavanna já tocou em diversas bandas, tais como The Herberts, AceFace, Battle Zone, etc... Se você pensa que este novo projeto tem algo a ver com a antiga banda italiana, esqueça! O som agora tem claras influências de mod, punk rock e british rock dos anos 80. Em termos comparativos, o som lembra bastante o AceFace, projeto também inglês cujos membros formaram os excelente The Concrete Gods. Mesmo distante do típico Oi!, a música e a voz de Antonella soam melódicas e extremamente agradáveis. A tiragem do single é de 600 cópias nas cores verde, branco e vermelho.

La bella ragazza is back! Antonella's KK is the new project of the girl who was the guitar player of old Italian band Klasse Kriminale. For those who don't know, Antontella Cavanna has joined several bands already, like The Herberts, AceFace, Battle Zone, etc... If you think this new project has something to do with that old Italian band, forget it! Her music is now strongly influenced by mod, punk rock and 80's brit rock. The music reminds AceFace a lot, another English project whose some members formed the great The Concrete Gods later. Even the sound is far from the typical Oi! we know, Antonella's music and voice sound melodic and extremely pleasant. The single was released as a limited editions of 600 copies in green white and red wax.

Especializado em edições limitadas, o selo alemão Shout Proud records acaba de lançar mais uma peça de colecionador, desta vez um split 7" com duas bandas do interior de São Paulo. Formada em 2008, a Bronco Army apresenta duas boas músicas que haviam saído em uma demo no ano de sua formação, e que foram regravadas em 2010 para serem incluídas neste split. Com uma batida skinhead que remete ao típico Oi! nacional dos anos 80, a Bronco Army lembra a clássica Tumulto 64 (antiga banda do vocalista), com a ressalva de que atualmente apresenta um som mais amadurecido e agressivo. Formada em 2007, a Bulldroogs surpreende neste primeiro registro não só por ter uma garota como "cabeça" da banda, mas também por ter qualidade musical superior a alguns grupos nacionais com muito mais tempo de estrada. O som é um bem tocado Oi!/streetpunk, também com uma pegada meio oitentista. A propósito, os riffs de guitarra agradam, pois fazem com que a música soe diferente da maioria das bandas nacionais. Expert in limited editions, the German label Shout Proud records has just released another collector's item, this time a split 7" featuring two Brazilian bands coming from the countryside of São Paulo. Formed in 2008, Bronco Army brings 2 great songs that were included in a 2008 demo, but were re-recorded in 2010 exclusively for this split. Their beat and aggressiveness remind to the typical Brazilian Oi! music of the 80's. Playing a more mature music, Bronco Army sounds a little like Tumulto 64, the singer's old band. Bulldroogs was formed in 2007 and this debut is amazing not only because the band is headed by a girl, but also for sounding much better than some older Brazilian bands. Bulldroogs plays a good Oi!/streetpunk, also sounding like those Brazilian bands of the 80's. Formada em Manchester, Pressure 28 surgiu em meio ao Oi! revival ocorrido na Inglaterra no início da década de 90. O nome Pressure 28 refere-se à pressão adequada para calibrar os pneus de uma Lambretta, que é de 28psi. A maioria das músicas do P28 saiu em coletâneas lançadas naquela década, sendo que as mais conhecidas foram "Oi! The New Breed", "British Oi! Working Class Anthems", "Oi! The Next Generation", "Voice of the Street" e "Oi! It's streetpunk". Depois de muitos anos em silêncio, os P28 voltam com este compacto contendo duas músicas, "Spirit of 69", Oi! tipicamente britânico, porém melhor lapidado se comparado às suas antigas músicas. O lado B traz a nem tão agressiva, "Pull no punches", que foge um pouco do Oi! tradicional, apresentando uma sonoridade mais sólida e cadenciada. Este ótimo compacto já nos dá uma clara idéia do que é o recém lançado CD "Unified".

Pressure 28 was formed during the Oi! revival spread throughout the UK in the early 90's. The name Pressure 28 refers to the tyre pressure of a Lambretta, that is 28psi. P28 songs became mostly known through the several compilations released during those years: "Oi! The New Breed", "British Oi! Working Class Anthems", "Oi! The Next Generation", "Voice of the Street" and "Oi! It's Streetpunk". After a long silence, P28 are back with this nice single: A side has "Spirit of 69", a typical British Oi!, but much improved if compared to their old songs. The B side brings not so aggressive "Pull no punches", sounding more solid and cadenced. This 7" gives us an idea about what is the just released "Unified" CD.

A única coisa que preciso escrever sobre este lançamento é que trata-se do bom e velho Condemned 84, ainda na sua melhor forma! Este 7" possui 3 faixas: "I just wanna be famous", studio demo a sair no próximo álbum "In From the Darkness". No lado B, "The Sound of Oi!" e uma versão gravada ao vivo na Alemanha para "No one likes us - We don't care". Se você é skinhead e não curte Condemned 84, arranque seus colhões! Condemned 84 é sem dúvidas, uma das melhores bandas skins de todos os tempos. Simplesmente esplêndido! Uma banda que nunca decepciona...

The only few words I must write regarding this release is that this is the old and good Condemned 84, still as its best! This three tracks 7" EP brings "I just wanna be famous", a studio demo from the forthcoming album "In From the Darkness". The B side has "The Sound of Oi!" and a version of "No one likes us - We don't care" recorded live in Germany. If you are a skinhead but aren't into Condemned 84, cut your balls off! Condemned 84 is, undoubtedly, one of the best skinhead bands ever existed! Just splendid! A band that never disappoints...

Diversas coisas vêm à mente quando ouvimos algo sobre a Noruega, exceto Irish punk... pois bem, os Greenland Whalefishers são da cidade de Bergen e tocam um Irish folk punk que não deixa nada a desejar para as famosas bandas do gênero. Músicas muito bem tocadas, acompanhadas também de flauta, bandolim, banjo e violino. "Songs from the bunker" é o sexto álbum da banda e foi considerado um dos 10 melhores discos de música irlandesa de 2010 (segundo um site especializado). O CD contém 15 faixas e um video da música "Waiting", que segue abaixo. Excelente disco, que também serve de exemplo a ser seguido por bandas (brazucas) que se metem a tocar Irish punk sem saber como fazê-lo...

When hearing about Norway many things come to mind, except Irish punk... well, Greenland Whalefishers is from Bergen and plays an Irish folk punk rock that surpasses some famous bands within the genre. Well-played songs, followed by tin whistle, mandolin, banjo and fiddle. "Songs from the bunker" is the bands' sixth album and is recognized by a specialized source as one of the best Irish folk music records of 2010. This CD comes with 15 tracks plus a video clip for the song "Waiting". A brilliant record, that could be followed as example for some (Brazilian) bands that still must learn how to play Irish punk...

Depois de 7 anos sem lançar um álbum com músicas novas, aqui está o magnífico "Skinhead Family". Na verdade, o último CD editado foi "Pour Faire Chier" (2008), que reúne músicas de diversos singles e coletâneas das quais a banda participou. "Skinhead Family" mostra que musicalmente a banda continua sendo a mesma Les Vilains de sempre: skinhead verdadeiro e da melhor qualidade! Neste álbum foram utilizados alguns solos de guitarra e a voz de Dieter Samoy (R.I.P.), recuperados de uma demo gravada em Novembro de 2009. O encarte traz letras e fotos, além de um texto dedicado à memória de Dieter. As letras continuam sendo críticas, diretas e politicamente incorretas, tratando de temas como valores da cultura skinhead, amizades verdadeiras, pena de morte e religião. Na minha opinião, Les Vilains é a melhor banda skinhead que já existiu na Bélgica. Excelente disco! 100% skinhead! Um chute nos dentes... compre ou morra!!!

Seven years after their latest album, here's the splendid "Skinhead Family". Actually, their most recent release was "Pour Faire Chier" (2008), but it features only old songs from several singles and compilations. "Skinhead Family" shows that musically Les Vilains is the same as always: real skinhead and top-notch music! For a couple of songs on this album were used some guitar solos and the voice of Dieter, taken from a demo recorded in November 2009. Insert comes with lyrics and photos, besides a text dedicated to the memory of Dieter. Lyrics are still critical, straight and politically incorrect, dealing with topics such as skinhead culture values, true friendship, death penalty and religion. In my opinion, Les Vilains is the best Belgian band ever. Impressive disc! 100% skinhead! A kick in the teeth... buy or die!!!

Gume é um projeto Oi! formado em Lisboa, cujo debut mal saiu e já se tornou uma raridade. A banda é influenciada por Oi! francês dos anos 80, sendo que o estilo tocado por eles lembra muito os grandiosos Paris Violence. As músicas soam como um rock'n'Oi! bem tocado e cadenciado, acompanhado por saxofone, coros e assobios. Em se tratando de Portugal, este trabalho é completamente diferente de tudo aquilo que já saiu por aquelas plagas... As letras também são muito boas, sendo que a minha favorita é "Lisboa" cujo apelo épico (que também pode ser notado na arte) remete aos tempos de glória de Portugal. Com tiragem total de 300 cópias, editado simultaneamente por 3 selos e com 3 artes diferentes, é o típico lançamento que deixa qualquer vinil junkie em dúvidas sobre qual edição escolher (imagino que a esta altura todas as cópias já tenham se esgotado!). Consegui duas edições diferentes deste disco e posso dizer que ambas apresentam um dos melhores trabalhos gráficos que eu já vi em um 7". As duas edições demonstram que a arte gráfica ficou a cargo de profissionais realmente perfeccionistas, tendo cuidados como impressão em papel pigmentado e gofrado, utilização de hot stamp (metalizado), além de outros detalhes que fazem deste 7" um trabalho único (ou triplo?)! Se tiver a chance de conseguir este compacto, não deixe passar. Filé de primeira!!!

Gume is an Oi! project band based in Lisbon, whose debut has been just released and quickly became rare. The band is influenced by French Oi! from the 80's, in a style that makes me remind the fabulous Paris Violence. Their music sounds like a very well-played rock'n'Oi!, followed by saxophone, nice choruses and whistles. Concerning Portugal, this work is completely different from everything that has been done there... Lyrics are also good, and my favourite one is "Lisboa", whose epical appeal (which can also be noticed in the artwork) refers to the glory days of Portugal. The pressing is strictly limited to 300 copies, simultaneously released by 3 different labels resulting in 3 different artworks. This is the sort of release that makes vinyl junkies drive insane (I suppose it might be completely sold out right now!). I got 2 different editions of this release and I must say both have one of the best artworks I had ever seen. It is noticeable that graphic art was in charge of a professional who was indeed worried about details, such as printing over pigmented paper, hot stamp and embossed printing, and other details that make this 7" a unique (or a triple?) work! If you have a chance to grab this record, don't miss it! A top-notch release!!!

O novo selo alemão Warboots Records estréia lançando este excelente split com as bandas Spy Kids (Alemanha) e Normals?! (Rep. Tcheca), que inclusive já tocaram juntas nos dois países. A edição em vinil tem tiragem de 500 cópias, contendo encarte com fotos e letras. Neste disco os Spy Kids apresentam um trabalho bem mais alinhado e maduro, se comparado ao 7" "Weimar" (2007). Os Spy Kids evoluiram de um Oi! tradicional para um som mais skinhead rock, com bons riffs e solos de guitarra. Dentre as 4 canções, o destaque fica para a potente "Keine Zeit" e "Der Arbeitsegoist". A propósito, seria muito interessante se a garota que toca baixo tivesse participação mais ativa nos vocais (por que não?). Quanto aos Normals?!, eu não conheço os outros trabalhos deles, mas o som desta banda de Praga me agradou bastante. Músicas sem frescuras, streetpunk sólido e rápido, com vocal agressivo e forte. As minhas favoritas são "Kotva a Kriz" e "Bez války se neumirá", que são cheias de fúria e energia. Lembrando que as duas bandas cantam em seus respectivos idiomas, o que torna suas músicas ainda mais agressivas. Certamente, um ótimo lançamento da Warboots, cujo selo do vinil relembra o clássico logo da R-O-R.

Brand new German label Warboots Rds has just debuted with this excellent split featuring Spy Kids (Germany) and Normals?! (Czech Republic), bands that had shared the stage on their respective countries already. The vinyl format is a 500 copies limited edition and has an insert with photos and lyrics. On this album Spy Kids presents a much more aligned and mature sound if compared to their 7" "Weimar" (2007). Spy Kids evolved from a traditional Oi! to a more skinhead rock music, with nice riffs and guitar solos. Among the 4 songs, highlights to the mighty "Keine Zeit" and "Der Arbeitsegoist". By the way, would be interesting if the girl who plays bass guitar would have a more active role singing some songs (why not?). Regarding the Normals?!, I don't know their previous releases, but I really liked this band from Prag, who plays a massive, fast and no-frills streetpunk, with aggressive and strong vocals. My favourite songs are "Kotva a Kriz" and "Bez války se neumirá", songs that are furious and full of energy. Notice that both bands sing on their native languages, which makes their music to sound even more aggressive. Surely a great release by Warboots Rds., whose vinyl label reminds that classic R-O-R logo.

Este é o primeiro release oficial dos nossos vizinhos chilenos, cuja sonoridade e boa qualidade de gravação supera a de muitas outras bandas (já) veteranas da América do Sul. Orgullo Sur destila um excelente skinhead Oi!, no melhor estilo old-school. As letras falam sobre os tradicionais temas skinheads, tais como patriotismo, cerveja e diversão. Este compacto rapidamente se tornou item de colecionador, já que a edição tinha tiragem limitada de 150 cópias numeradas à mão. Caso você não consiga uma cópia deste compacto, não se preocupe, pois o primeiro CD da banda acaba de sair pelo selo belga Pure Impact. Sem sombra de dúvidas, uma das melhores bandas Oi! do Chile.

Skinhead band Orgullo Sur comes from Puerto Montt, South of Chile. Orgullo Sur distills an excellent patriot skinhead sound, in an old-school Oi! style. The lyrics are about traditional skinhead themes, such as patriotism, beer and fun. In case you can't find a copy of this record, don't worry, their first full-length just has been released by Pure Impact. Undoubtedly, one of the best Oi! bands to come from Chile.

Endless Summer Open Air 2010

Entre os dias 12 e 14 de agosto, a cidade de Torgau (Alemanha) recebeu a 13ª edição do festival Endless Summer Open Air. Durante os 3 dias do evento apresentaram-se mais de 30 bandas, que tocavam de punk rock a Oi!, passando também pelo ska e hardcore. Alguns grupos não muito conhecidos surpreenderam durante a apresentação, como no caso dos alemães Arthur and the Spooners, que têm em seu repertório versões ska para diversas outras bandas Oi! e rock'n'roll. Outras grupos não muito conhecidos que também fizeram uma boa apresentação foram Sondaschule, The Gumbles, Bad Co. Project e Harrington Saints. No meio de tantos nomes, o destaque fica (é claro) para as clássicas bandas Volxsturm, Perkele, The Broilers, Deadline, The Templars, Argy Bargy, SpringtOifel, Stomper 98 e Cock Sparrer. Com tantas bandas de peso, nem é preciso dizer que o festival foi bom... Segue abaixo algumas fotos do evento.

From 12 to August 14th, the city of Torgau (Germany) hosted the 13th edition of Endless Summer Open Air festival. During the three days of the event there were about 30 bands on 2 stages, playing from punk to Oi!, including also ska and hardcore. Some not well-known bands surprised during their set, such as the German Arthur and the Spooners, who has on its repertoire lots of ska versions for Oi! and rock'n'roll songs. Other not so well-known groups that also had made a good presentation were Sondaschule, The Gumble, Bad Co. Project and Harrington Saints. Amongst so many names, highlights of the event were (of course) the classic bands Volxsturm, Perkele, The Broilers, Deadline, The Templars, Argy Bargy, SpringtOifel, Stomper 98 and Cock Sparrer. Contendo 4 “novas” músicas de estúdio e mais 6 ao vivo, este é o mais recente lançamento da The Business. Na verdade estas 4 inéditas são versões gravadas por estes veteranos britânicos, que no melhor estilo Oi! souberam dar peso e estilo às canções. O CD abre com uma brilhante versão de “Mean girl” música que foi originalmente gravada pelo Status Quo (?!). A segunda faixa é uma excelente cover de “Don’t give a fuck” dos Beerzone. Os The Bruisers também ganharam uma ótima versão para a clássica “Till the end”, e para encerrar o ciclo de covers, “1-2-3” dos Professionals, banda que tinha na formação os ex-Sex Pistols Steve Jones e Paul Cook. Estas 4 versões por si só já fazem valer o disco! As faixas ao vivo foram gravadas no Marquee Club em 1982, com exceção da “One thing left to say”, que foi gravada em 2008. Fato curioso é que a The Business foi a primeira banda genuinamente Oi! a tocar no Marquee, que naqueles anos tinha como restrição a entrada de skinheads na casa [N.E.: a Skrewdriver chegou a tocar no Marquee em junho de 1977, mas quando ainda era uma banda punk]. O CD vendido no site da gravadora vem com um pôster da capa como brinde.

Containing 4 “new” studio tracks and 6 live songs, this is the latest The Business release. Actually these 4 new songs are unreleased cover versions recorded by the British veterans, who knew how to make these songs sounding harder and in a great Oi! style. The CDs starts with a brilliant version for “Mean girl”, a song originally recorded by Status Quo (?!). The second track is an excellent version for the Beerzone’s “Don’t give a fuck”. The Bruisers also deserved a tribute for their classic “Till the end”, and to shut down the cycle of covers they also recorded “1-2-3”, originally played by The Professionals, a band formed by the ex-Sex Pistols Steve Jones and Paul Cook. These 4 versions already make the CD worth it! Except for “One thing left to say” that was recorded in 2008, the remaining live tracks were recorded at the Marquee Club in 1982. Curiously, The Business was the first Oi! band to play at the Marquee, as in those days there was a door restriction on skinheads, unless they were known by the bouncers [E.N.: Skrewdriver had managed to play at the Marquee Club in June 1977, but they were still a punk band]. This CD comes with a poster if ordered through the record label.

KRAWALLBRÜDER – Das 11te Gebot (KB Records, CD – 2009)

KrawallBrüder é de Saarland (Alemanha) e foi formada no início dos anos 90. Podemos dizer que eles sempre tocaram um som Oi! forte e agressivo, com guitarras pesadas e bem elaboradas. Entretanto, após muitos anos na estrada, além de terem uma considerável discografia, o KB também mostra como amadurecer mantendo-se fiel ao seu estilo original. Quatro anos após terem lançado “T.M.G.” e terem passado por mudanças na formação, eles retornam com o excelente “Das 11te Gebot”. As canções deste disco demonstram uma evolução impressionante na sonoridade da banda! Músicas tocadas com técnica, peso e habilidade. Os outros discos da KrawallBrüder também são bons, mas “Das 11te Gebot” (na minha opinião) é o melhor de todos. Pra quem gosta de música potente e de qualidade, fica aqui a dica!

KrawallBrüder comes from Saarland and was formed in the early 90’s. We can say that they always used to play a powerful and aggressive Oi!, with skilled and well-played guitars. However, after all these years, besides reaching to a considerable discography, KB also shows how to make a mature sound keeping it true to their original style. Four years after their latest release “T.M.G.”, and some changes in the line-up, they are back with the awesome “Das 11te Gebot”, which proves that KB improved their music impressively, sounding harder and skilled than ever! I also like the older KB releases, but (in my opinion) “Das 11te Gebot” is so far the best work they have ever released! If you like quality music played with strength, here’s the album!

Este interessante DVD duplo contém entrevistas, documentário, ensaios e alguns concertos dos alemães KrawallBrüder. O ponto alto do DVD é sem dúvidas a o show no Force Attack Festival, com uma apresentação de mais de 50 minutos de duração e ótima qualidade de som e video. Neste concerto os KB tocam para uma platéia lotada que canta junto com a banda clássicos como a rápida “KrawallBrüder”, a excelente “Halbstark” e outras canções como “Unsere Strassen”, “Die Fäuste hoch”, “Blut für Blut”, “Halb Mensch Halb Tier”, “Stolz in der Haut” e “Bis in alle Ewigkeit”. Com excelentes riffs de guitarra a banda mostra que soa tão bem no palco como no estúdio!

O DVD 1 também contém um documentário mostrando a história do KB desde o início e sua evolução musical com o passar dos anos. Há também uma longa entrevista com os integrantes do KB, mas infelizmente não há legendas em inglês. O DVD 2 contém “Mit den Jungs auf Tour”, um vídeo de 33 minutos mostrando os caras na estrada enchendo a cara de cerveja e infernizando a vida da motorista que os acompanham. O vídeo da tour “In dubio pro reo” (2006) tem 45 minutos de duração, e além da banda tocando em diversas cidades mostra os caras se divertindo por onde passam. O segundo DVD encerra com a banda em viagem por Istanbul. Em suma, pode-se dizer que o DVD é um documentário completo sobre esta excelente banda!

This interesting double DVD contains interviews, documentaries, rehearsals and some concerts of the German band KrawallBrüder. The highlight of this DVD is their set at the Force Attack Festival, a 51 minutes presentation in good quality sound and video. At this show KB plays for a huge audience of fans who sing along to the band classics like the fast “KrawallBrüder”, the excellent “Halbstark” and other songs such as “Unsere Strassen”, “Die Fäuste hoch”, “Blut für Blut”, “Halb Mensch Halb Tier”, “Stolz in der Haut” e “Bis in alle Ewigkeit”. With great guitar riffs, the band shows that they sound as good live as on studio!

The DVD 1 also contains a documentary with the story of KB since the beginning and their musical evolution over the years. There’s a long interview with the band members, unfortunately without English subtitles. DVD 2 features “Mit den Jungs auf Tour”, a 33 minutes video with the blokes getting drunk, causing mayhem on the road and also annoying their driver. The video tour “In dubio pro reo” (2006) lasts 45 minutes and shows the band playing in various German cities, besides some scenes with the guys having fun wherever they go. This second DVD closes with scenes of the band in Istambul. In short, we can say it is a complete documentary for this excellent band!

Este é o segundo álbum do D.M.F., e também o mais recente trabalho do frontman do T.M.F.. Com um som bem diferente do primeiro álbum “Oi! ain’t dead...”, composto somente de covers de bandas Oi!, este CD traz um som mais elaborado, com instrumental mais pesado e influenciado por um rock’n’roll mais cru e agressivo! A inconfundível voz do talentoso “mad-man” (como ele mesmo se define), enriquece ainda mais o som. O encarte traz todas as letras, que pode-se dizer, merecem uma análise à parte: cruéis, hilárias (“On the hunt” e “Do you want some?”), perversas e de duplo sentido (“Don’t abuse it – My Cunt-tree”). Destaque também para “Stella” (a querida Artois) e “Hail”, que na verdade é uma homenagem ao Homer Simpson (“Hail Homer Simpson!”). À primeira vista, algumas canções podem parecer um pouco non-sense, mas a crítica corrosiva está ali, dosada com ironia e o sarcasmo. Uma das melhores letras é a de “Animal testing”, que pode ser conferida logo abaixo. Um ótimo disco, principalmente para os fãs de T.M.F.!

This is the second D.M.F. album, and also the most recent T.M.F.’s frontman release. Sounding differently from the first “Oi ain’t dead” (an album consisting of Oi! covers only), “Life is so serious” brings well-done music, but still hard and in a raw aggro-rock’n’roll style! The unmistakable voice of this talented self-proclaimed “mad-man” enhances the music even more. The insert comes with all lyrics, which deserves an in-depth analysis: lyrics are mostly evil, hilarious (“On the hunt” and “Do you want some?”), perverse and double meaning (“Don’t abuse it – My Cunt-tree”). I can’t forget to mention “Stella” (the lovely Artois) and “Hail” that actually is a tribute to Homer Simpson (“Hail Homer Simpson!”). Initially it may sound a bit non-sense, but the corrosive criticisms are there, dosed with irony and sarcasm. One of the best lyrics is “Animal testing” (see below). An excellent album, mainly for the T.M.F.’s fans!

Este álbum contém 13 faixas que remetem aos primórdios da Stomper 98 (1998-2003). Diferente de um “Best of” ou uma coletânea qualquer, as músicas do disco são apresentadas como se estivessem sendo tocadas em um programa de rádio, com introduções (e ligações) feitas por integrantes de diversas bandas próximas à Stomper 98 (Cro-Mags, Eastside Boys, Emscherkurve 77, Die Kassierer, The Templars). Resgatadas dos arquivos, algumas canções foram regravadas ou restauradas, sendo que uma delas é inédita (“Allein & Eingesperrt”). A última canção do álbum é uma versão em alemão para “Real enemy” da The Business. A edição em vinil saiu como álbum duplo, em 10” e colorido. Indispensável para os die-hards!

This album contains 13 tracks that date back to the beginnings of Stomper 98 (1998-2003). Differently from a “Best of” or an ordinary compilation, the songs are introduced like being broadcasted by a radio station, with comments (and phone calls) made by musicians from various bands close to Stomper 98 (Cro-Mags, Eastside Boys, Emscherkurve 77, Die Kassierer, The Templars). Taken from the archives, some songs were recovered or re-recorded, including the unreleased “Allein & Eingesperrt”. The last track is a German version for “Real Enemy” (The Business). The vinyl edition was launched as a double coloured 10” in a gatefold cover. Essential for the die-hards!

Comemorando 10 anos de estrada, a Stomper 98 nos presenteia com este magnífico DVD de aniversário. Gravado ao vivo em Leipizig no ano de 2008, contou com a apresentação das bandas Bovver Boys, The Templars e Evil Conduct. Vale lembrar que a Stomper 98 tem como baterista ninguém menos que Phil Templar (The Templars), que vem acompanhando a banda há algum tempo. Aliás, os últimos discos (“Für die Ewigkeit”, “Tage Deinen Jugend” e “...4 the die hards”) já contavam com a participação de Phil na batera.

Pra quem não conhece a banda direito, basta dizer que tocam música Oi! da melhor qualidade, com muita energia e refrões pra se cantar junto. Com influências de ska, a sonoridade acaba ficando ainda mais rica e melódica por ter acompanhamento de um saxofone. Com diversos lançamentos recentes, a Stomper 98 tem tocado em vários países e festivais da Europa, além de já ter excursionado pelos EUA. Nos extras vê-se um rápido trecho do show do Battlezone tocando nos EUA, com Alex cantando “Runnin’ Riot” do Cock Sparrer. Além de entrevistas e cenas de diversos shows, os extras contêm trechos de apresentações no Full Force Festival e no Punk & Disorderly (ambos de 2009). A qualidade do video é profissional, sendo que as imagens do show foram captadas através de 8 cameras. Celebrating 10 years on the road, Stomper 98 gives us this wonderful birthday DVD. Recorded live in Leipzing in 2008, the party counted on bands like Bovver Boys, The Templars and Evil Conduct. Remind it has been a while that Phil Templar (The Templars) has played drums in Stomper 98. For those unfamiliar to their sound, that’s enough saying they play top-notch Oi!, completely singalong and full of energy! Strongly influenced by ska, their tunes stand out richer and melodic due to the saxophone. With lots of albums released recently, Stomper 98 has played in many festivals and countries in Europe as well as in USA. Inside the extras there is a quick shoot for Battlezone playing in USA, where Alex appears singing Cock Sparrer’s “Running riot”. Besides interviews and scenes from several gigs, the extras bring them playing at the Full Force Festival and Punk & Disorderly (both in 2009). The video has a professional quality and images were captured through 8 cameras. Amongst their many classics, they also play songs from bands such as Böhse Onkelz (“Tanz auf Deinen Grab”), Cock Sparrer (“Watch your back”) and 4 Skins (“Chaos”). In addition to the excellend DVD, the box comes with a CD for the show, including a 16 pages booklet with lots of photos. This box has a nice finishing, whose cover is coated in a glossy cardboard, affording a “retro” aspect to this special and limited edition. A must-have DVD!

Minha intenção era a de postar apenas este video clip e só... Mas não há como deixar de fazer um breve comentário e indicar este ótimo CD, cuja edição limitada traz também um DVD contendo 4 videos. Frei.Wild é uma banda de streetrock vinda de SüdTirol (ou Tirol do Sul / South Tyrol), uma província localizada no Norte da Itália, local onde o idioma falado pela maioria é o alemão. Se você gosta de bandas com som que remeta a Böhse Onkelz e afins, certamente não irá se desapontar com este CD.

Initially I had just thought about uploading this video without dropping any line or so … but would not be possible to do it without a brief comment concerning this great CD, whose limited edition comes with a DVD featuring 4 video clips. Frei.Wild is a streetrock band from South Tirol (Südtirol), a province in the North of Italy, where the spoken language is German. If you are into bands that sound like Böhse Onkelz, surely you won’t be disappointed with this CD!

Here is a great release for the Flogging Molly fans! Recorded in Los Angeles, in September 2009, this box has 2 live CDs and a full length live DVD captured in HD with over 10 cameras. The DVD brings bonus material featuring an interview and 7 official Flogging Molly’s video clips. The case is a 4 panel digipack, which contains a booklet with lots of pictures, and whose first edition comes with a nice poster included. Na verdade, este até poderia ser considerado um “Vol. 2” contendo os grandes clássicos ao vivo. Lançado em 2010, mais especificamente no dia de St. Patrick, foi gravado em 7 concertos entre os dias 12 e 17 de março de 2009. Reúne canções dos álbuns mais recentes da banda, tais como “Blackout” (2003), “The Warrior’s code” (2005) e “The Meanest of times” (2007), o que faz dele um CD repleto de clássicos, que inclui uma ótima versão da tradicional “Johnny, I hardly knew ya”. Não bastasse vir num belo digipack, tem como bonus um DVD completo do mesmo show. Simplesmente magnífico! Sem palavras...

Actually, we could say it’s a second volume for their greatest hits as live songs. Released on St. Patrick’s Day 2010, it was recorded from March 12^th to 17^th 2009. The CD collects songs from their 3 latest albums “Blackout” (2003), “The Warrior’s code” (2005) e “The Meanest of times” (2007), bringing lots of classics and also a great version for the tratidional “Johnny, I hardly knew ya”. Eu já tinha me deparado com este CD em alguns catálogos e fanzines, mas confesso que entre tantos outros lançamentos acabei nem indo atrás deste disco. Acontece que um bom e velho amigo me enviou uma cópia, convicto de que eu gostaria deste trabalho... e o cara acertou em cheio! Estes veteranos do punk/Oi! francês gravaram um disco surpreendente, misturando Oi!, punk rock, ska e alguns discretos acordes de psychobilly. Com uma sonoridade bem elaborada e melódica, a banda demonstra muita criatividade e energia neste disco. Um álbum de qualidade e bem inspirado, daqueles que se pode ouvir por diversas vezes seguidas, sem pular uma faixa sequer. Altamente recomendável para os apreciadores do clássico punk/Oi! francês!

I had read a review about this CD already, but I must confess that amongst so many new releases I didn’t worry about this title. It so happens that a good and old friend had sent me a copy, convinced that I would enjoy this work… and it was a straight shot! These French punk/Oi! veterans recorded an amazing album, mixing Oi!, punk rock, ska and also dosing a kind of psychobilly chords to it. Well-played and with a very melodic sound, they also show extreme creativity and energy on this record (they were indeed inspired!). I’m sure you won’t hesitate to play it repeatedly! Highly recommended if you enjoy that classic punk/Oi! made in France!

Uma banda clássica e lendária sempre merece ao menos um disco ao vivo na sua discografia, e aqui está o segundo CD ao vivo do Endstufe. O primeiro álbum ao vivo “Live in Mallorca ’98” foi lançado pela Hanse Records em 1998, e apesar das boas músicas do disco eu poderia dizer que a qualidade de gravação e som não são lá muito bons. Muitos anos se passaram desde então, o Endstufe ainda está na estrada e eis que a Pure Impact nos presenteia com o grandioso “Wo wir sind brennt die Luft”. Este CD com 12 faixas foi gravado ao vivo na Itália e Alemanha (em 2007 e 2009 respectivamente), e é agradável não apenas pelo monte de clássicos incluídos, mas também pela boa qualidade de gravação, que soa em um nível audível e limpo (muito melhor que o “Live in Mallorca ‘98”). Endstufe é uma das mais antigas bandas alemãs em atividade, e eles ainda continuam chutando rabos! Eles também tocam uma boa versão para “Sex and violence”, do The Exploited, e o encarte traz diversas fotos tiradas nas gigs. A classic and legendary band always deserves at least a live album on its discography, and here’s the Endstufe’s second live CD! First live album “Live in Mallorca ‘98” was released by Hanse Records in 1998 and despite of the great songs featured in “Live in Mallorca ‘98” I could say recording and sound quality were not quite good. Many years have passed since then, Endstufe is still on the road and Pure Impact has presented us with the great “Wo wir sind brennt die Luft”. This 12-song CD was recorded live in Italy and Germany (2007 and 2009 respectively), and it’s pleasant not only for the lot of classics included on it but also for the good recording quality, sounding in a clean and audible level (much better than the great “Live in Mallorca ‘98”). Depois de vários anos sem lançar músicas inéditas, os veteranos do BDC retornam com toda a força neste projeto gravado em parceria com Dieter, líder, vocalista e compositor da banda belga KBK. “Rocking in São Paulo, Rolling in Brazil” foi gravado em Outubro de 2009, durante a passagem de Dieter pelo Brasil, que inclusive chegou a participar de uma gig com o BDC em SP. Este pode ser considerado como um dos últimos trabalhos realizados pelo talentoso Dieter, que infelizmente suicidou-se em Janeiro deste ano.

Com músicas bem elaboradas, o BDC mostra o peso e a qualidade que os tornaram uma das bandas brasileiras mais conhecidas no exterior. Algumas canções foram compostas exclusivamente pelo BDC, e outras em parceria com Dieter. Ao longo das 10 faixas que compõem o CD também é possível notar a forte presença e influência de Dieter, principalmente nas faixas em que melodia e letra foram compostas por ele, remetendo inevitavelmente ao puro estilo KBK.

O CD possui letras em português e inglês, sendo que a excelente “Tenacidade” é cantada pelos dois vocalistas, em ambos os idiomas. O encarte possui diversas fotos e todas as letras, que diga-se de passagem, são anti-comunistas. Se você já conhece o som destas bandas então conseguirá facilmente ter uma idéia do resultado final deste trabalho. A música “Rocking in São Paulo, Rolling in Brazil” é uma versão mais pesada e acelerada para a clássica “Going to Brazil” do Motörhead. Certamente, um disco obrigatório na sua prateleira!

After many years without releasing new songs, the veterans of BDC come back with full force on this project done in partnership with Dieter, frontman, singer and songwriter for the Belgian band KBK. "Rocking in São Paulo, Rolling in Brazil” was recorded in October 2009 during the staying of Dieter in Brazil, whom has even been able to join BDC in a gig that took place in SP then. This release can be considered as one of the last recordings made by talented Dieter, who sadly committed suicide in January 2010.

Playing well-crafted songs, BDC shows all the strength and quality that had made them one of the most well-known Brazilian bands abroad. Some songs were composed solely by BDC, while others as in partnership with Dieter. Throughout this 10 tracks CD we can also notice a strong influence of Dieter, mainly for the tracks which instrumental and lyrics had been composed by him, that sound undoubtedly as KBK itself.

This CD has lyrics in Portuguese and English, and excellent track "Tenacity" is sung by Marcio and Dieter on both languages. The booklet has many pictures and all lyrics (mostly anti-communists). If you have heard to these bands already, then you can easily have an idea of the final result. The song "Rocking in São Paulo, Rolling in Brazil" is a heavier and faster version for the Motörhead’s "Going to Brazil" (from the “1916” album). Surely it’s an obligatory disc on your shelf!

Nabat foi formada em 1979 na cidade de Bolonha. A formação original tinha Steno (vocal), Stiv (guitarra), Giulio (baixo) e Davide (bateria). A primeira demotape foi gravada em 1981, juntamente com Rip Off (outra banda Oi! de Bolonha). Em 1982 Nabat gravou seu primeiro EP, chamado “Scenderemo nelle strade”, um dos primeiros EPs de Oi! a serem produzidos de forma independente na Itália. A primeira prensagem de “Scenceremo...” (lançado pela CAS Records) teve uma tiragem de 2000 cópias e é considerado um item ultra-raro hoje em dia. Após este EP, o Nabat saiu na coletânea “Skin + punk = TNT”, com as músicas “Skin e punk” e “Generazione ‘82”. O segundo EP “Laida Bologna” foi lançado em 1983. O LP de estréia “Un altro giorno di Gloria” (outra raridade) foi lançado em 1985 e é considerada a pérola da discografia do Nabat. Por diversas razões, a banda se dissolveu em 1987. Entretanto, em 1992, após uma gig da The Stab (uma banda punk Oi! formada por 2 ex-integrantes do Nabat), Steno subiu ao palco para uma jam session na qual cantou 8 clássicos do Nabat tocados pelos integrantes da Stab. Esta gravação saiu em vinil em 1994 pela Twin Records, sob o nome de Steno & The Stab – “Live Alla Morara – Bologna”. Depois deste lançamento, alguns outros álbuns do Nabat foram lançados e a banda voltou a fazer algumas gigs esporadicamente.

Em um determinado momento, o Nabat assumiu um posicionamento político mais esquerdista, mas existe uma informação interessante em relação ao guitarrista Steve. Steve Jena, também conhecido como Steve Roda, saiu do Nabat antes da gravação do disco “Un altro giorno di gloria”, e apareceu em Londres se apresentando como experiente músico da cena skin. Steve juntou-se ao Skrewdriver em 1985 e deu suporte à banda durante as gravações do LP “Blood & Honour”. Na verdade, Steve estava substituindo o baixista australiano Murray Holmes, que havia voltado a Austrália por motivos profissionais. Inicialmente o planejado era que Steve tocasse guitarra base, mas ele assumiu o baixo assim que Paul Swain saiu dos 4 Skins para tocar na banda de Ian Stuart.

“Campane a stormo” é um disco pirata (500 cópias numeradas a mão em vinil verde e mais outras 500 em vinil preto), que contém músicas tiradas de demotapes (gravadas em 1982 e 84), faixas ao vivo (de 1983 e 85) e também músicas de coletâneas. A qualidade de gravação não é das melhores, mas mesmo assim, soa muito bem.

O video “Asociale Oi!” foi gravado em 2007, durante o festival Punk & Disorderly em Berlin (DE).

Nabat was formed back in 1979 in the city of Bologna. The original line-up had Steno (vocals), Stiv (guitar), Giulio (bass) and Davide (drums). Their first demotape was recorded in 1981, together with Rip Off (another Oi! band from Bologna). In 1982 Nabat recorded their first EP, called "Scenderemo nelle strade", one of the first independently produced Oi! EPs in Italy. The first pressing of "Scenderemo..." (released by CAS Records) was 2000 copies and is an ultra-rare item nowadays. After this EP, Nabat was also featured in the EP compilation "Skin + punk = TNT" with the songs "Skin e punk" and "Generazione '82". Their second EP "Laida Bolgona" was released in 1983. Nabat's debut LP "Un altro giorno di Gloria" was released in 1985 (CAS Rds) and is considered as the pearl of their discography. Due to many reasons Nabat had called it a day in 1987. Although, in 1992 after a gig of The Stab (a punk Oi! band formed by 2 ex-Nabat members), Steno got on stage to a clamorous jam session where he sang 8 Nabat classics played by the members of The Stab. This recording was issued on vinyl as Steno & The Stab - "Live Alla Morara - Bologna" by Twin Rds in 1994. After this release, some other albums came out and Nabat started to play some gigs sporadically.

Even Nabat had gone into a more political left wing direction, there's an interesting information concerning the guitarist Steve. Steve Jena a.k.a. Steve Roda left Nabat before they recorded "Un altro giorno di gloria", and arrived in London presenting himself as an experienced musician. Steve joined Skrewdriver in 1985 and supported the band during the recordings of "Blood & Honour" LP. Actually, Steve was replacing aussie bassist Murray Holmes, whom had to return back to his homeland due to working commitments. It was first planned that Steve would play the rhythm guitar, but he switched to bass when Paul Swain moved from the 4 Skins to Ian Stuart’s band.

"Campane a stormo" is a bootleg album (500 hand numbered copies in green wax and 500 in black), and features songs taken out from demos (1982 and '84), live tracks (in 1983 and '85) and also songs from compilations. Recording quality is not the best one, but it sounds pretty good.

The "Asociale Oi!" video was recorded in 2007, during the Punk & Disorderly festival in Berlin (DE).

Lançado originalmente pela Captain Oi! em 2007, “Here we stand” não é nenhuma novidade para os fãs de Cock Sparrer. Todos já sabem que este disco foi gravado após um silêncio de 10 anos, que possui ótima qualidade de gravação e que os músicos esbanjam técnica e habilidade com seus instrumentos. Porém, para os colecionadores, melhor que possuir o CD, é ter uma cópia da edição lançada em 2009 pelo selo norte-americano Pirates Press records. Além do vinil colorido vem com um CD bônus contendo todas as músicas do disco e mais um DVD com o making of de “Here we stand”, videos da banda em tour pelos EUA (2000), além de extras como o show gravado em Blackpool. O DVD também conta a história por trás desta edição e um pouco sobre a gravadora Pirates Press. Um belo “regalo” para os vinyl junkies!

Originally released by Captain Oi! in 2007, “Here we stand” is not a novelty for the Cock Sparrer’s fans. Everybody knows this album is the first studio recording after 10 years of silence, and that it has an excellent recording quality, besides the fact that musicians are plenty of skill with their instruments. For the collectors, better than having this CD, is getting a copy of the edition launched in 2009 by north-american label Pirates Press records. Besides a coloured vinyl it comes with a bonus CD version of the entire album, a DVD featuring the making of “Here we stand”, and also a USA 2000 live footage from TKO Records “What you see... is what you get” DVD, plus additional live footage from Cock Sparrer archives (like a gig recorded in Blackpool). DVD also shows the history about Pirates Press. It’s indeed a nice “gift” for the vinyl junkies!
